(Grand Forks, ND) — A man who fled police by jumping into the Red River has been taken into custody. Grand Forks police were called to Demers Avenue around 2 a.m. for a possible domestic dispute. Cops say when officers arrived John Pribula had taken off from the scene and crossed the Sorli Bridge into East Grand Forks, Minnesota. When approached by East Grand Forks Police Pribula jumped in the river and started swimming north. He was eventually spotted by a drone and taken into custody by East Grand Forks officers.
