(Sioux Falls, SD) — An 18-year-old is facing charges for allegedly carrying a gun onto a high school campus over the weekend. Sioux Falls Police are accusing Phillip Linderman of bringing a gun onto the Lincoln High School campus Saturday during a pancake fund-raiser.
A police spokesperson said during a briefing on Monday Linderman had the gun “concealed in his waistband” while he was on the campus. The spokesperson added that Linderman “didn’t threaten anybody” with the gun, and that he ate some pancakes and left. Linderman is not a student at a school in the Sioux Falls School District. He’s being charged with having a weapon on school grounds, which is a misdemeanor.
