(St. Paul, MN) — The state of Minnesota wants to give funding to childcare providers to help them start or grow their businesses. The Department of Employment and Economic Development announced six-million dollars in Child Care Economic Development grants yesterday. Grants of up to 600-thousand dollars will be awarded to help with startup costs, employee retention and training, facility improvements and permitting costs. The deadline for grant applications is October 31st.
