(Undated) — Longtime U.S. Senator and five-term U.S. Representative Tim Johnson has passed away. Johnson, who was born in Canton, South Dakota, had more than 30 years of public service at both the state and federal level. He died around 8 p.m. on Tuesday according to a family spokesperson. A funeral service will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls on Friday, October 18th. He was 77.
