(Sioux Falls, SD) — Avera Health has a new chief medical officer. It was announced yesterday that Dr. Jared Friedman will be taking over the role, starting next month. He’s worked in several different roles with Avera for 20 years and currently serves as the clinical vice president of emergency medicine. As chief medical officer, Friedman will be in charge of a large team of doctors and nurses, along with overseeing patients.
