State Lawmakers Break For Crossover

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota lawmakers are in recess for their crossover break. Crossover is the deadline for state legislators to send bills to the other chamber. Tuesday was the deadline. The North Dakota Monitor says the House introduced 620 bills and 34 resolutions this session, while the Senate introduced 400 bills and 28 resolutions. Senate Majority Leader David Hogue of Minot says Legislative committees will resume on March 5th, and the full House and Senate will return on March 7th.
