(St. Michael, ND) — Three members of the Spirit Lake Tribe are dead after a shooting in St. Michael yesterday morning. Tribal leadership says the incident happened around 9:30 a.m on the reservation. Law enforcement arrested a suspect a few hours later. As of yesterday, the victims’ names had not yet been released. Several law enforcement agencies are investigating, including the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Benson County Sheriff’s Office.
