South Dakota Gas Prices Rise

(Rapid City, SD) — Gas prices across South Dakota are showing a noticeable increase over the last week. That’s according to GasBuddy. The statewide average has climbed nine cents more per gallon this week from the previous two-dollars-86-cents. Rapid City is seeing a more significant jump with many gas stations going from three-oh-five last week to as high as three-29 this week. A Newsweek study is attributing the rise to soaring oil prices. Spring break or higher taxes could also be factors.
