(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls restaurant is donating chickens after purchasing nearly 26-hundred of them. Gabriel Rivero, owner of the Argentinian restaurant Tarquin, says it’s his way of giving back to the community that has supported him. He credits a successful year of business so far thanks to local customers, and says helping those in need is the way he was raised. The chickens are being distributed through the Faith Temple Food Giveaway in Sioux Falls which feeds around four-thousand people a week. It’s held on Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m. by the Nordstrom Johnson Building at the Lyon Fairgrounds.
