Corn and Soybeans Both 67% Good to Excellent Nationwide

(WASHINGTON D.C.)– The latest Crop Progress Report shows that the U.S. corn and soybean crops are both equal in terms of good to excellent conditions.

As of Sunday, June 30th, both corn and soybeans are 67% good to excellent nationwide with corn down two points and soybeans unchanged from last week. Spring wheat was rated 72% good to excellent as of Sunday and winter wheat remaining in fields was 51% good to excellent. Winter wheat harvest was 54% complete as of Sunday, June 30th.

Cotton nationwide was 50% good to excellent, down from 56% last week. Corn silking was 11% nationwide. Soybeans were 95% emerged, 20% blooming and 3% setting pods.
