Marketing Year Low in Corn Export Sales This Week

(WASHINGTON D.C.)- Corn export sales continue to be rather dismal as we’ve seen a new marketing year low for 2022/2023 sales this week.

For the week ended April 27th, 2023, we saw corn net sales reductions of 315,600 MT with much of that stemming from recent Chinese cancellations of corn purchases. Wheat net sales were up 36 percent from last week at 211,100 MT while soybean net sales were down 7 percent at 289,700 MT.

Beef and pork net sales saw a solid week with 20,100 MT and 49,000 MT respectively.
