(Minot, ND) — The Ward County Commission is getting two new members. Write-in candidates Ron Merritt and Miranda Schuler have both been elected to the board. Merritt is the former Minot Parks director, while Schuler was on the Minot City Council and also served on the Minot Public School Board. Incumbent Jim Rostad returns to the commission for a third term, leading all candidates with just under 14-thousand votes.
