(Undated) — Outgoing Congressman Kelly Armstrong is nominating four North Dakota high school seniors for the U.S. Service Academies. Fargo’s Colten Rau was nominated for the U.S. Naval Academy, while Ange Asongkeng from Bismark and Cooper Fjeld from Minot were both nominated for the U.S. Military Academy. Paul “PJ” Fleckenstein from Bismarck was nominated for the U.S. Air Force Academy. Those three service academies require candidates to be nominated by either a U.S. representative, senator or by the Vice President.
