(Morton County, ND) — “Distracted driving” is being blamed for a crash Friday afternoon that killed a 66-year-old Hebron woman. According to North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Morton County Road 88 just north of Glen Ullin. Highway Patrol says her SUV went off the road and hit a concrete bridge support after going into a ditch. She reportedly received a phone call just before going off the road. Three children in the SUV were taken by ambulance to a hospital. Their condition isn’t known. The woman wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, but all three children were, according to Highway Patrol.
