Adjutant General Of North Dakota National Guard To Retire

(Bismarck, ND) — The Adjutant General of the North Dakota National Guard is retiring. Officials with Governor Doug Burgum’s office made the announcement yesterday that Major General Alan Dohrmann had submitted his resignation letter last week. In accepting the General’s resignation, Burgum reportedly thanked Dohrmann – who also serves as director of the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services – for his 40-plus years of military service and steadfast leadership. State sources say Dohrmann’s replacement will be announced sometime before the end of September.
