Air Monitors To Be Installed At Fort Berthold Indian Reservation

(New Town, ND) — Environmental groups plan on installing air quality monitors at Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. The purpose of the project is to monitor air pollution from flaring oil wells in the area. The Dakota Resource Council and Fort Berthold Protectors of Water and Earth Rights will install a total of seven monitors, and data from them will be sent to researchers and a public dashboard. The dashboard is expected to go online next month.
