(Fort Yates, ND) — The FBI is investigating an alleged assault of an officer at a juvenile detention facility in Fort Yates. Following the FBI investigation the Bureau of Indian Affairs will conduct its own investigation. The detention officer is said to be badly injured from yesterday’s incident but the degree of the injuries has not been released.
