Alleged Cartel Leader Pleads Guilty In North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) — An alleged cartel leader and hitman is pleading guilty to federal charges in North Dakota. Juan Sillas-Rocha is known as a Lieutenant in Mexico’s Felix Cartel, and he’s accused of being involved in the distribution of cocaine, meth, and marijuana in North Dakota, and reportedly ordered the death of two people. He’s charged with conspiracy to commit murder and continuing a criminal enterprise, to which he’s pleaded guilty. Sillas-Rocha’s sentencing is set for 2024, and he faces life in prison.
