Alleged Grand Forks Drug Dealer Pleads Not Guilty

(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man who was wanted by the FBI for allegedly being part of a drug distribution ring is pleading not guilty. Court documents say 32-year-old Collin Posey was involved in a criminal conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine between Minneapolis and the Spirit Lake Reservation. In July, he was approached by an FBI agent in Grand Forks and escaped by jumping into an apartment window, where he was involved in a stand-off with a SWAT team for about seven hours. Posey received additional charges after allegedly trying to escape from his hospital room.
