Arctic Freeze Shatters Low-Temperature Record In Dickinson

(Dickinson) — The recent arctic freeze not only brought brutally cold temperatures to North Dakota, but also shattered century-old records. Up until now, the record for the lowest recorded temperature in Dickinson was -14 degrees, set back in 1916. However, after the passage of the polar vortex, Dickinson’s new low-temperature record stands at -21 degrees. Wind chill values also reached an absolutely frigid -70 degrees
