(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota officially has a new governor and lieutenant governor. Secretary of State Michael Howe administered the oath to Governor Kelly Armstrong and to Lieutenant Governor Michelle Strinden on Friday. They were both joined by their families. Also present was outgoing Governor Doug Burgum and his wife. Burgum was nominated by President-elect Trump as Secretary of the Interior. Armstrong assumed office on Sunday as North Dakota’s 34th governor.
