(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck City Commission has placed Bismarck Event Center Director Charlie Jeske back on administrative leave. The Commission was supposed to decide on Jeske’s future as director, but couldn’t come to an agreement and tabled the item until their next meeting on March 12th. The Commission has appointed the Bismarck Event Center’s Sales and Marketing Manager Amanda Yellow to serve as interim director. The city fired Jeske last October, saying he violated city policy by going on a trip paid for by an event ticketing software company, though he was reinstated a month later.
