Bismarck Food Bank Seeing Increase In Clients

(Bismarck, ND) — Volunteers say there has been an increase in people coming to the Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry. The food bank is reportedly also seeing more repeat customers, and say they now stay busy all year. Pantry representative Pat Jergenson suspects inflation is to blame, mentioning that they’ve seen an increase in grocery costs. The pantry runs low on food more frequently now, and is always accepting more donations and volunteers.
