(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man who allegedly fought with police officers faces criminal charges. Police were called to an area near Sunrise Park on a report of a man acting strangely, and officers encountered Chad Tarno, who they say was slurring his words and smelled of alcohol. When officers tried to detain him, Tarno reportedly began kicking and spitting at them. Once the officers got him under control, he was taken to jail on charges of preventing arrest and attempted assault on a peace officer.
