Bismarck Man Arrested For Attempted Murder

(Bismarck, ND) — A 19-year-old Bismarck man has been arrested on an attempted murder charge. Police say it happened Wednesday morning at the Skyway Park Village mobile home park, and officers were called to the scene on a domestic violence report. Officers found a 77-year-old woman with severe head injuries, and she was taken to a hospital to be treated. Police say the suspect, identified as Jordan Oster, hit the woman in the head with a large stick. Oster was taken to a hospital for observation, where he reportedly attacked an officer and a nurse. The woman is expected to survive.
