(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man is going to prison for ten years after he was shot by an officer in May of last year. Daedyn Lewellyn received the maximum five-year, straight time sentences for terrorizing and reckless endangerment. The Burleigh County judge ordered the two sentences to run consecutively. Lewellyn was found guilty of pointing his gun at a man during an argument — and when approached by police, he reached toward his waist in a threatening manner, drawing fire from the officer.
