(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck and Mandan Public Schools are encouraging parents to start signing up for the free and reduced lunch program. School officials say there are more opportunities for families to qualify this year, so even those who haven’t qualified in the past should take a second look. The Mandan School District has a poverty rate of 31 to 32-percent, and many students use the program.
