Bismarck Police Launching Crime Map

(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck Police Department is launching a public online crime map. The map shows incidents going as far back as one month, displaying crime, service, and traffic calls in the area. The data is also organized in pie charts, breaking calls down by category and percentage of occurrence. While street names are listed for each incident, names and addresses are not due to privacy reasons. Police hope the map will help them identify crime hot spots, and give the public a better idea of what is going on in the city.
