Blizzard Conditions Likely for Eastern North Dakota

(Grand Forks, ND) — Forecasters say there’s a 60-percent chance of blizzard conditions in eastern North Dakota today. A cold front that moved across the Canadian border is bringing with it high northwest winds that could impact Grand Forks and Fargo. The National Weather Service says 60 mile-per-hour wind gusts will reduce visibility and likely make travel treacherous and potentially life threatening. Forecasters say they’re not expecting a lot of new snow, but what’s out there will be blowing around.
