(Bismarck, ND) — A rail bridge that spans the Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan is set to be demolished. BNSF says it has gotten all the needed permits to tear down the bridge and build a new one. Friends of the Rail Bridge says they are still looking at other options to save the structure. The group wants the bridge to be repurposed. BNSF expects construction to ramp up this spring and summer.
