(Des Moines, IA) — North Dakota Governor and GOP presidential candidate Doug Burgum says he wants to talk about the future of the country and not about the 2020 election. Speaking on ABC’s This Week, Burgum acknowledged for the first time during his campaign that President Biden won the 2020 election. However, he sidestepped questions about Thursday’s indictment of former President Trump, saying only “Everybody’s innocent until proven guilty.” Burgum added that he would rather be talking about “energy, (the) economy and national security.”
