(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum says his presidential campaign will continue regardless of whether he makes the second GOP debate next week. The governor hasn’t met the national polling requirements to participate, which requires candidates to poll above three-percent nationally. Burgum hopes to bring those numbers up last minute, but says he will continue to campaign in other states even if he isn’t able to. He went on to call the polling requirements a “goofy clubhouse rule”. The next Republican candidate debate will be held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California on September 27th.
