(Washington, DC) — Governor Doug Burgum will be performing double-duty in President-elect Trump’s administration. In addition to being nominated as Secretary of the Interior Department, Burgum will head up the newly-formed National Energy Council. President-elect Trump announced Burgum as the new Energy Czar on Friday, saying the National Energy Council will include all departments and agencies in relation to American energy. Burgum’s dual roles in Trump’s administration will also give him a seat on the White House’s National Security Council.
