(Bismarck, ND) — The Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department is welcoming a new K9. His name is Pallo, and he’s a Belgian Malinois who’s handled by Deputy Zach Bugbee and will be assigned to the Patrol Division. Pallo is two-years-old and was brought to North Dakota from Europe to help with drug detection, tracking, and apprehensions. He will replace Profi, the Department’s longest-serving K9 who will retire in July.
