(Burlington, ND) — A major fire that devastated a large farmstead near Burlington is finally under control. It began Sunday with a barn fire, which ended up spreading to nearby buildings and numerous cars on the property. Strong winds fanned the flames, which made battling the blaze difficult for firefighters. Officials say the fire destroyed a barn, four garages, and roughly 200 vehicles. No injuries were reported, and fire officials say the blaze was caused by a garbage burn at the farmstead that got out of control.
