Burn Ban Begins Friday In Some Areas of North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND) — A ban on open burning begins Friday at all public property managed by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department south of Bismarck and Mandan. The intent is to reduce the potential for wildfires in wooded recreation areas along the Missouri River. Burn bans will also be in effect in areas managed by the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and Morton County Parks.
