(Rolette County, ND) — Dry conditions have prompted Rolette County Commissioners to declare a Fire Emergency and begin burn restriction enforcement. A Red Flag Warning is in place and conditions are currently favorable for wildfires. As a result, restrictions for campfires, fireworks, and controlled burns are in place. Officials say if you need to perform a controlled burn, contact the local fire chief to request one, and let dispatch know once it’s done.
