Charge Dropped For Man Accused Of Deadly Shooting

(Beulah, ND) — A man accused of a deadly bar shooting in Beulah is no longer facing an attempted murder charge. The shooting happened last March after Shawn Gramkow reportedly used a racial slur and was punched, and allegedly responded by firing several shots. One man was killed and another was wounded, and Gramkow claims he fired the shots in self-defense. He still faces charges of murder, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment, and his trial is set for June 17th.
