Citizens Extinguish Grand Forks House Fire

(Grand Forks, ND) — The Grand Forks Fire Department arrived at the scene of a house fire, only to find that it had already been put out by civilians. On Wednesday afternoon, fire crews were called to 8th Street on a report of a house fire. Once on scene, they saw that the fire had been extinguished, and learned that citizens who were passing by the house noticed the fire and put it out. The fire had been limited to one exterior wall of the home and no injuries were reported. However, the people living in the home have been displaced, and fire officials are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
