Click-It-Or-Ticket Campaign Underway

(Bismarck, ND) — A reminder for drivers, the click-it-or-ticket campaign is now underway in North Dakota. The National Highway Safety and Traffic Administration is asking police to target drivers between the ages of 18 and 34; the group most often involved in deadly crashes. Patrol units across the state plan to aggressively pursue seatbelt enforcement, as 48-percent of all fatal crashes in 2023 involved an unbuckled driver. Failing to buckle up can cost the driver 20 bucks for each unbuckled person in the car, and the campaign runs through June 2nd.
