(Bismarck, ND) — Cold winter weather has been killing car batteries across North Dakota. Triple-A Public Affairs Director Eugene LaDoucer says calls for service in the state increased between 200 and 500 percent compared to last year. He also says during cold weather, it’s a good idea to keep things like jumper cables, a shovel, and traction material such as cat litter in your car.
