Crash Severely Injures Two Near Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) — A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 just outside of Grand Forks left two people severely injured early Thursday night. The wreck happened when a Dodge Durango crashed into the back of another SUV driven by an 81-year-old man, who was reportedly driving well below the speed limit. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities say the 81-year-old man wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and his airbags didn’t deploy. Road conditions were reportedly wet at the time of the collision.
