Crews Respond After Smoke, Flames Spotted At CHI St. Alexius

(Bismarck, ND) — Crews responded to CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck yesterday after flames and smoke were spotted at the facility. The Bismarck Fire Department investigated and found the smoke coming from the hospital’s smokestack. Crews met with facility management, who said they were running a calibration of a newly installed diesel boiler system. Crews confirmed that there were no other sources of fire or smoke and left the scene.
