(Beach, ND) — People in Beach are cleaning up a mess after a damaging hailstorm hit the town Wednesday evening. Locals say hailstones up to two inches in diameter pummeled the town for about 20 minutes, leaving broken windows, shredded siding, and dented cars. The worst damage was on the south side of Beach, and one local said the hail hitting their house sounded like “someone shooting a machine gun”. No injuries were reported.
