(Minot, ND) — Darrion Jackson has been found guilty of murdering Timothy Smith in Minot last year. Smith was found shot to death at the Vegas Motel in January, and investigators say an argument between him and Jackson led to the shooting. Jackson claimed he shot Smith in self-defense, though prosecutors said there’s no evidence of that being the case. Jackson will be sentenced in August.
