Deadly Crash In Mountrail County

(Mountrail County, ND) — A 30-year-old New Town man is dead following a head-on collision in Mountrail County. It happened Tuesday morning on Highway 23, where authorities say the man’s SUV went over the center line and crashed head-on into an oncoming semi-truck. The man in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene, and the semi-truck driver wasn’t injured. The crash remains under investigation, and the names of those involved will be released later today.
