Deadly Crash Involving Semi Near Mandan

(Mandan, ND) — One person is dead following a head-on collision that happened near Mandan Thursday afternoon. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened on State Highway 1806 about a mile north of the city, where a car veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a semi-truck. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver wasn’t hurt. The highway was closed for nearly five hours due to the crash.
