Deadly Crash Near Minot

(Minot, ND) — One person is dead following a deadly Sunday morning crash in Ward County. It happened south of Minot on U.S. Highway 83, where authorities say an SUV slowed near the scene of an earlier crash, and a Jeep crashed into the back of it. The 68-year-old driver of the SUV was rushed to a hospital, but he later died of his injuries. The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries, and police say charges against him are currently pending.
