(Ellendale, ND) — A man died in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning near Ellendale. Authorities say it happened as the man was driving down 85th Avenue Southeast when his pickup truck veered off the roadway, entered a ditch, and rolled, partially ejecting him from the truck. The crashed truck was discovered later that morning, and the driver was pronounced dead. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, and the road was slick with ice at the time of the crash.
