(New Town, ND) — A man is dead following a collision involving a semi-truck near New Town. Authorities say the man was driving on Highway 23 in his pickup truck when he veered over the center line into oncoming traffic and crashed into a semi. The driver of the pickup was taken to a hospital, where he died of his injuries. The semi-truck driver wasn’t hurt in the crash, and both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts.
